Who are we?
Three Rabbits Productions offers music education services in the greater Las Vegas area. Our focus is to create a fun and informative learning experience for students of all ages. We offer group lessons on the guitar and ukulele as well as general music topics. Classes are available for all levels and styles and can grow along with students' needs.
Why group lessons?
Group lessons are great for adult classes, after school programs, and community centers. They are an outstanding way to meet new people or connect with your neighbors, schoolmates, or co-workers while learning the guitar or ukulele. Event planners benefit from an easy-to-organize activity while students can take advantage of the reduction in cost versus individual instruction. Classes can be stand-alone or part of a larger event such as a camp program or retreat. It is an exceptional and fun way to begin the journey towards mastering an instrument.
What do you need to organize group music classes?
Group classes are scheduled at a location of your choosing, provided adequate and appropriate space is available. Necessary on-site supplies are minimal and usually as basic as providing a chair for each participant. We are able to provide all other needed materials. Prices vary based on location, supplies, and the number of students. Three Rabbits Productions is fully insured for commercial and corporate clients.
Do I need an instrument for group lessons?
Yes, but we have you covered. While many students provide their own guitars, we are able to offer instruments and all the accessories you need to get started at an affordable price. We offer programs that include a rental instrument as well as programs that offer a guitar or ukulele for each student to own. Students who enroll in our intro and beginner classes will have access to everything needed to continue their musical journey.
Other Common Questions
How many students are needed for a group class?
Technically, more than one is considered a group, but most classes range from 3 to 12 students with anywhere from 5 to 10 students being optimal. Aside from space considerations, this allows the instructor to observe and engage with each individual as needed.
What kind of space do I need to organize an event?
The space needed is directly proportional to the number of students. A full student roster will require a meeting room or classroom while a small group can be done in a residential living room. As a hard fast rule, consider a minimum of 5 ft square for each student. We even offer outdoor classes during select times of the year. If you would like more information or want to find out if your space or location is suitable for group lessons, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Are group lessons only for beginners?
While beginner guitar and ukulele classes are most common, we offer intermediate, advanced, and special interest classes on many music-related topics. Some examples include individual musical styles, songwriting, repertoire, and general music.
Where do you offer classes?
We currently offer classes for private, public, and corporate groups throughout the Las Vegas valley and surrounding areas. If you would like more information or want to find out if your space or location is suitable for group lessons, please don't hesitate to contact us.
When do classes meet, and how long do they run?
Our classes meet on a weekly basis and run for 1 to 3 months. Intro classes normally last 4 weeks while general or specialized classes can run up to 12 weeks. Most classes are an hour long with exceptions for youth classes that normally have a shorter duration. Running times are negotiable and we are willing to work with you to determine the best fit for your class.
I am an individual. How can I sign up for one of your classes?
Feel free to contact us, and we will let you know if there are open classes available in your area. Sometimes a simple inquiry is enough to jump start a class that is convenient to your location.
